Unilever Indonesia distributes 60,000 N95 masks to 8 hospitals

JAKARTA - PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) announced its cooperation with the Association of Indonesian Hospitals (PERSI), Bekasi District Health Office and Tangerang District Health Office to distribute 60,000 N95 masks to 8 (eight) Referral Hospitals under PERSI and through the Bekasi and Tangerang District Health Offices to provide them with personnel medical and health facilities.

The eight PERSI referral hospitals are Mintohardjo Hospital, Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Sulianti Saroso Hospital, Persahabatan Hospital, Cengkareng Hospital, Fatmawati Hospital, Pasar Minggu Hospital, and Bhayangkara Tk. 1 R. Said Sukanto Hospital.

Ira Noviarti, Director of PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk. said, "Through the spirit of #MariBerbagiPeran that we bring, we are continuing to make a series of efforts to assist Indonesia in suppressing the spread of the COVID-19 virus through trusted institutions, including the Indonesian Red Cross at the beginning of last week and this time with PERSI and the Health Office. We fully understand that currently supporting facilities are still very much needed especially for our front guard, health workers. For that reason, we delivered as many as 60,000 N95 masks in the hope of helping the protection of health workers on duty."

Previously, Unilever had announced its commitment to distribute aid worth Rp 50 billion in the form of products such as hand sanitizers, soaps, food and beverage products, home hygiene care products, and food packages through the "Meals for Meals" program and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for health workers are channeled both independently and through collaboration with various partners throughout Indonesia.
