JAKARTA - The revenue of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), which operates KFC restaurants in Indonesia, has declined 25%-50% due to large-scale social restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), said Corporate Secretary J. Dalimin Juwono.

In a stock exchange filing published on Tuesday (19/5), Mr Juwono said the company had reduced operations and temporarily shut 115 outlets across Indonesia due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently KFC Indonesia has 17,216 permanent and temporary staffers, with 4,988 furloughed since January and 4,847 taking a 50% pay cut. However, the company is still able to meet its current liabilities. (LK/MS)
