JAKARTA - The first trial of the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) alleged corruption case has been scheduled for June 3, 2020 at the Jakarta Corruption Court, said Head of the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Legal Information Centre Hari Setiyono.
“It is still unknown whether the first trial will take place physically or virtually considering the COVID-19 pandemic,” Mr Setiyono said on Wednesday (27/5) as quoted by Antara.
On Wednesday, Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Ali Mukartono and the Central Jakarta District Attorney’s Office have handed over files on defendant Joko Hartono Tirto, Director of PT Maxima Integra, to the Jakarta Corruption Court.
Previously, on May 22 subpoenas were issued for other five defendants, namely PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) CEO Benny Tjokrosaputro, former Jiwasraya CEO Hendrisman Rahim, former Jiwasraya CFO Harry Prasetyo, former Head of Jiwasraya’s Investment and Financial Division Syahmirwan, and PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM) President Commissioner Heru Hidayat.
