JAKARTA - PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN) disbursed Rp 155.76 trillion in loans in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, up from Rp 141.12 trillion in December 2019, while its non-performing loans (NPLs) in the period reached Rp 324.69 billion.
According to the company's Q1 financial report published on Tuesday (2/6), the largest portion of the company's loans was channeled to third parties at Rp 145.82 trillion, followed by Rp 9.16 trillion in sharia financing and Rp 2.02 trillion in financing to affiliate parties.
The largest portion of loan disbursement was to the corporate segment (Rp 92.01 trillion), followed by pension loans (Rp 33.62 trillion), MSMEs (Rp 13.96 trillion), sharia financing (Rp 9.16 trillion), general loans (Rp 2.94 trillion), household loans (Rp 2.25 trillion), microbusiness loans (Rp 1.37 trillion), other institutions' employee loans (Rp 1.27 trillion), car loans (Rp 223.39 billion), and employee loans (Rp 172.42 billion).
Third-party funds were recorded at Rp 89.55 trillion, up from Rp 79.59 trillion in December 2019, while net interest and sharia income reached Rp 2.92 trillion, up from Rp 2.43 trillion in Q1-2019, and current net profit reached Rp 872.80 billion, up from Rp 593 billion. (LK/MS)
