Eureka Prima is facing difficulties to pay its short-term obligations

JAKARTA - PT Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (LCGP) is facing difficulties to pay its short-term obligations of US$ 23.45 billion due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the disclosure of information published on Wednesday (3/6), Hervien Tahier, Corporate Secretary of PT Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (LCGP) said that his party has not paid off its short-term obligations, which consists of debt to third parties (Rp 3.47 billion), related parties (Rp 894.50 million), other debts (Rp 2.21 billion), and tax arrears (Rp 16.53 billion).

According to him, the company was forced to conduct a partial shutdown since 17 March 2020 due to the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy implemented by the government to overcome COVID-19. (LK/AR)
