JAKARTA - PT Aerojasa Kargo, a subsidiary of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), has launched delivery app KirimAja, which uses Garuda Indonesia and Citilink flights and involves distribution partners called Sohib KirimAja in order to create an economic impact.

In a press release published on Wednesday (3/6), Garuda Indonesia CEO Irfan Setiaputra said current conditions have prompted the company to be more adaptive and creative in developing business opportunities in the so-called New Normal era. "Among others, we are developing a business opportunity through the KirimAja logistics service. The rapid development of Indonesia's e-commerce industry and the emergence of new trends in the New Normal era have prompted the logistics sector to play an important role in bridging the need for quick, accurate, and efficient goods delivery," he said.

According to Mr Setiaputra, goods delivery is no longer merely a transactional need; it has become a part of the people's lifestyle. The KirimAja service is equipped with several accessible features including reservation, booking management, real-time tracking, tracing, delivery fee checking, and virtual account payments. (LK/MS)
