JAKARTA - PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP) posted sales of Rp 2.96 trillion in the first quarter of this year. This amount increased by 8.45% compared to the achievements in the same period last year of Rp 2.73 trillion.
Based on CSAP's financial statements that ended on March 31, 2020, the biggest contribution to revenue came from ceramic tiles sales which reached Rp 1.15 trillion. Then followed by consumer goods products amounting to Rp 637 billion. In the same period last year, contributions from ceramic tiles and consumer good product sales were recorded at Rp 1.05 trillion and Rp 647.17 billion, respectively.
As revenue grew, CSAP's cost of sales in the first quarter also increased 6.73% yoy to Rp 2.60 trillion from Rp 2.44 trillion in Q1 2019. CSAP's operating expenses also increased from Rp 387.01 billion in Q1 2019 to Rp 438.14 billion at the end of the first quarter of this year.
As a result, CSAP's net profit as of March 31, 2020 was recorded at Rp 21.59 billion. This amount increased by 7.87% compared to the achievements in the same period the previous year amounting to Rp 20.02 billion. (LM)
