JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) will distribute cash dividends of Rp 457 billion, equivalent to 20% of its net profit in 2019 (Rp 2.29 trillion).
In the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), WIKA's management explained that Rp 297.31 billion of the dividends will be given to the Indonesian government as the majority shareholder. The remaining Rp 159.7 billion will be distributed to public shareholders.
Cum date is set for 16 June 2020 in the regular market and 18 June in the cash market. While dividend payments will be made on 9 July.
WIKA also keeps the remaining Rp 1.83 trillion of its net profit as reserves. The funds will also be used to pay the yield of WIKA's Perpetual Securities I/2018. (KR/AR)
