JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has declared its support for the Attorney General's Office's (AGO) investigation on the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) case as an OJK employee known as FH has been named as a suspect while serving as Head of the Capital Market Supervision Department.
According to OJK Deputy Commissioner for Public Relations and Logistics Anton Prabowo, OJK has always supported the AGO by providing all required data, information, and assistance since the start of the investigation. "We support all law enforcement efforts by upholding the presumption of innocence," he said in a press release on Thursday (25/6).
According to Mr Prabowo, OJK closely cooperates with the AGO to build a healthy, stable, and credible financial system to protect consumers and boost economic growth. One of OJK's core principles, he said, is upholding the implementation of regulation and supervision to ensure a well-governed financial system. (LK/MS)
