NFC Indonesia revenue skyrockets 143% in Q1

JAKARTA - PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX) posted revenue growth of 143.2% year on year (yoy) to Rp 2.1 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020.

According to the company’s management, its positive performance was boosted by the growth of the digital product aggregator segment, which grew 143.5% yoy in line with the growth of membership by 288.8% yoy to 102,300 members in the same period.

“In addition, top-line growth was boosted by contribution from digital cloud advertising segment revenues which grew by 89% yoy to Rp 23.7 billion in Q1,” NFCX Head of Investor Relation Jo Cheah Zhuo En wrote in an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com, Monday (29/6).

During the same period, advertising points operated by NFCX’s subsidiary PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) continued to grow rapidly with the number of screens increasing by 68.9% yoy to 9,748 screens. In addition, DMMX’s Pojok Bayar (Payment Corner) platform also recorded membership growth by over 2,000 members.

With the performance, DMMX’s Q1 revenue jumped 478,8% yoy to Rp 85.2 billion while its net profit skyrocketed 492,7% yoy to Rp 8.8 billion. (MS)
