JAKARTA - PT Sekar Laut Tbk (SKLT) is optimistic that it will be able to record revenue growth of 10% this year. In order to achieve this target, the company will continue to innovate and expand its market.
As quoted from the company's disclosure of information published on Wednesday (1/7), Johan Gozal, Director of PT Sekar Laut Tbk (SKLT) said the company will be able to record positive growth in 2020. "We are aware of many uncertainties in 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19, but management will continue to try to boost growth above 10%," he said.
In the first quarter of 2020, SKLT recorded Rp 329.9 billion in revenue and Rp 12.4 billion in net profit.
According to him, the company will focus on the European Union, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China markets due to high demand. The company also hopes that its domestic market will grow due to the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), which forces people to stay and cook at home. (LK/AR)
