JAKARTA - Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) rose by 24.31 points or 0.49% to 4,991.08. Until this afternoon, the index was seen moving in the range of 4,966.78 and 4,995.27 after yesterday it was closed at 4,966.78.
There were three sectors that weakened in session I, namely the property, trade and agriculture sectors. Seven other sectors strengthened and pushed JCI into the green zone. The biggest increase occurred in the mining sector and basic industries, which grew 2.47% and 2.44%, respectively.
Today's LQ45 top gainers are PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT). (LM)
