Delta Dunia Makmur will issue global bonds

JAKARTA. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) has obtained approval from its shareholders to raise funds through its subsidiary, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama, by issuing global bonds.

DOID's management stated that the debt securities will be denominated in US dollars. Even so, the company has not yet disclosed the total value of the global bonds to be issued.

However, DOID's management said that the total value of the global bonds is more than 20% of the company's equity. "It is a material transaction based on Regulation No. IX.E.2, "said DOID's management in its information disclosure.

According to idnfinancials.com data, DOID's total equity was US$ 257.75 million as of the end of March 2020. This means that the value of global bonds to be issued is more than US$ 51.55 million (Rp 740.52 billion).

For information, DOID booked a loss of US$ 22.82 million during the first quarter (Q1) of this year. (KR/AR)
