SMF prepares Rp 685.2 billion to pay off its bonds

JAKARTA. PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF, a housing loan finance company owned by the Indonesian government, claimed to have prepared Rp 685.2 billion to pay off its bonds that will mature in October 2020.

Trisnadi Yulrisman, Director of SMF, said the bonds were issued in 2017, named SMF Shelf Registration Bonds IV phase II Series B. Although they will mature in a few months, he admitted the company had prepared funds to repay the principal and interest of the bonds.

"The funds are currently placed in the form of deposits," Yulrisman said through information disclosure.

As for the details, the principal of the bonds to be paid is Rp 673 billion, while the interest is Rp 12.2 billion.

For information, SMF recorded 16.6% revenue growth in 2019 to Rp 396.34 billion. However, its net profit declined by 4.63% to Rp 324.17 billion. (KR/AR)
