JAKARTA - At the beginning of the pandemic in March, Bukalapak noted an increase in transactions of basic commodities to 3.5-fold from the previous month and to date, staple food needs have become the most sought after category. New normal lifestyle makes online shopping one of the main choices of the community in meeting a number of needs, which made Bukalapak continue to make breakthroughs to meet the needs of its users.

Collaborating with HappyFresh, Bukalapak users can now use the HappyFresh Groceries feature through the Bukalapak platform to get daily necessities in hundreds of supermarkets and specialty shops in various cities in Indonesia.

"In order to continue to meet these needs well, we are encouraged to continue to develop Bukalapak products and services. This is the background of our collaboration with HappyFresh, where all our users can now shop at grocery stores of their choice while conducting physical distancing protocol," said Victor Lesmana, Director of Fintech, Payment and Virtual Products of Bukalapak.

HappyFresh guarantees the quality of products ordered in a freshly hand picked which is selected by trained Personal Shoppers and delivered by Riders, by wearing PPE (masks, gloves) and washing hands regularly to protect the public as well as their health.
