Hanson International may be delisted from the IDX

JAKARTA. PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX), a company owned by Benny Tjokrosaputro, may be delisted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) due to suspensions and the impact of the Jiwasraya case.

Goklas Tambunan, Head of Corporate Assessment Division of the IDX, said that so far, MYRX shares had been suspended for six months.

MYRX's delisting isgetting closer ot reality due to the Jiwasraya corruption case, which involved Benny Tjokrosaputro, had a negative impact on the company's business continuity. Total state losses resulting from this case are estimated to reach Rp 17 trillion.

BEI noted that currently Benny Tjokrosaputro serves as President Commissioner of MYRX. In addition to being a commissioner, he also holds 4.25% of MYRX shares. (KR/AR)
