JAKARTA - The fiscal stimulus of Rp 1,039 trillion for the national economic recovery (PEN) program will be distributed this year. This was said by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto in Jakarta, yesterday (21/7).
According to him, the stimulus should be distributed this year to encourage economic recovery. Therefore, he ensured that the budget would be spent through ministries and other government institutions.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the stimulus should be realized quickly, transparently and accountably to the people, to support productivity during COVID-19 pandemic. (LK/AR)
