Social Bella distributes more than 12,000 personal care products to 5 hospitals

JAKARTA - More than 12,000 self-care products packed into 2,100 parcels have been sent by the leading beauty tech in Indonesia, Social Bella to the five COVID-19 referral hospitals in Jakarta as a token of appreciation for medical staff who continue to work tirelessly in handling COVID -19 for almost the past 4 months. This donation came from beauty enthusiasts who joined the #CareOnForward campaign movement initiated by Social Bella, which took place from June 1 to July 5, 2020.

Through the campaign movement, Social Bella invites beauty enthusiasts to participate in helping provide support to medical staff where the company donates 10% of product purchases on the Edit by Sociolla page at Sociolla.com. Previously, Social Bella participated in a fundraising activity with indonesiapastibisa.com which was initiated by East Ventures. The funds raised in the fundraising will be used to support research and development of COVID-19 test kit technology. In total, Social Bella has donated Rp 1.76 billion to support the handling of COVID-19 in Indonesia through various initiatives.

Social Bella's Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Chrisanti Indiana revealed, "Social Bella continues to actively participate in COVID-19 countermeasures in Indonesia. This time together with the beauty enthusiasts through the #CareOnForward campaign, we sent 2,100 self-care packages consisting of more than 12,000 products in the form of toiletries, facial soap, dry shampoo, facial moisturizers, hand sanitizers and face masks to support the medical staff in maintaining cleanliness during duty. These self-care packages have been distributed to five referral hospitals in Jakarta.”

The five referral hospitals are Wisma Atlet Hospital, Fatmawati Central General Hospital (RSUP), Bhayangkara General Hospital, Cengkareng Regional Hospital (RSUD), and Pertamina Jaya General Hospital (RSU). Package distribution to five hospitals was carried out in stages starting from July 14 to July 16, 2020. (LM)
