JAKARTA. PT Bank BTPN Tbk (BTPN) restructured Rp 4.1 trillion, or 3% of its loan portfolio, in the first half (1H) of 2020.
According to BTPN CEO Ongki Wanadjati Dana, restructuring was part of the company's commitment as investment to support long-term operational growth. He said BTPN remains committed to support customers in facing the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic this year.
BTPN's loan growth in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020 reached 5% year on year (yoy) to Rp 150.5 trillion, with the corporate segment growing 18% to Rp 88.6 trillion as of late June. The bank's corporate financing included energy security projects. (AM/MS)
