JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) will participate in distributing the COVID-19 vaccine, if it pass the third phase of clinical trials condcuted by PT Bio Farma (Persero). This was conveyed by Anton Mart Irianto, Operations Director of PT PPI (Persero) in his press release in Jakarta on Monday (3/8).
According to him, PPI has fulfilled a number of requirements needed for the cooperation, including administration, technical distribution, and vaccine storage system.
"PPI and Bio Farma will cooperate in the distribution of vaccines because the products will not be sold freely and the distribution will be carried out specifically," he said.
In addition to the distribution of vaccines, cooperation between PPI and Bio Farma also includes the provision of influenza vaccines to PPI employees.(LK/AR)
