OJK projects restructuring to reach 40% of total credit distributed

JAKARTA. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded that 25% - 30% of total credit distributed by financial institutions had been distributed. OJK projects the number to reach 40%.

Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of OJK, Wimboh Santoso, explained that the number of restructuring proposal continue to decline. "Restructuring has started to become flat, it's time to grow and rise again," he explained in virtual expose on Tuesday (4/8).

Until now,  6.7 million customers have their loans restructured, with a total credit value of Rp 784.36 trillion. 5.34 million of them are MSMEs with a total credit value of Rp 330.27 trillion, and the remaining 1.34 million are non-MSMEs customers with a total credit value of Rp 454.09 trillion.
