Waskita Karya offers bonds with a total value of Rp 135.5 billion

JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) offers bonds with a total value of 135.5 billion. This is part of the company Shelf Registration Bonds IV program, with a maximum proceeds of Rp 4.95 trillion.

In the prospectus that has been released, the bonds are offered with a fixed interest rate of 10.75 percent per annum. The interest on the three-year bonds will be paid every 3 months from the date of issuance.

WSKT management explained that 50% of the net proceeds from the bonds (Rp.66.27 billion), would be used to pay the company's debts to PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI). Then, the remaining 50% will be used as the company's working capital.

The public offering of WSKT bonds began on 3 August 2020, and they will be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on 7 August 2020. The company appointed PT BNI Sekuritas, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, and PT Mandiri Sekuritas as underwriters. PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) was appointed as the trustee. (KR/AR)
