JAKARTA - PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) will open new outlets and start selling its products through digital platforms to maintain its sales until the end of this year. In the first semester of 2020, the company recorded sales of Rp 3.58 trillion.
As quoted from the company's public expose on Wednesday (5/8), Prabowo Widyakrisnadi, President Director of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk .(ACES) said that ACES' management planned to open three new outlets this year. "However, this will be done selectively and we will prioritize regions that we haven't reached before," he said.
In the first semester of 2020, the company opened 11 new outlets with total investments of Rp 90 billion.
In addition, ACES' management predicted that it would only record flat growth in sales, at best. Therefore, his party is trying new marketing initiatives with digital marketing. So far, ACES has sold its products through ruparupa.com website. "During the pandemic, online sales did increase, but not too much. It is estimated that online sales will not grow too much, because many customers preferes offline transactions," he said. (LK/AR)
