JAKARTA - Starting the first week of August 2020, the Indonesian Capital Market tends to vary but still shows positive data. The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction value, which increased by 20.07 percent to Rp9.989 trillion from Rp.8.319 trillion at closing in the previous week.
The increase also occurred in the average daily transaction frequency of 5.02 percent to 755,404 thousand transactions from 719,261 thousand transactions in the previous week.
Meanwhile, the average daily stock exchange volume experienced a change of 9.83 percent to 10.542 billion shares compared to previous week's 11.692 billion shares. Last week, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed down 0.11 percent or at 5,143.893 from 5,149.627 in the previous week. Changes were also experienced by the stock market capitalization, namely by 0.09 percent to Rp5,962.586 trillion compared to previous week's Rp5,968.165 trillion.
Last week, on Tuesday (6/8) a virtual IPO was held for the 34th Listed Company on the IDX in 2020, namely PT Sunindo Adipersada Tbk with the TOYS stock code and listed on the IDX Development Board. TOYS entered into the Consumer Goods Industry sector with the Others sub sector. (LM)
