11 August 2020 11:22

JAKARTA - PT Batavia Prosperindo Finance Tbk (BPFI) has budgeted Rp 30 billion to buy back a shelf-registered bond issued in 2018.

The offering period for the corporate action is scheduled on August 13-18, 2020 while the bond will be paid on August 25.

In a stock exchange filing on Tuesday (11/8), BPFI Corporate Secretary Indah Mulyawan said the purchase amounts to 12.96% of Shelf-Registered Bond II Phase I/2018. The fund for the corporate action is sourced from the company's internal cash.

According to Mr Mulyawan, the corporate action will not affect the company's financial conditions because it still has adequate working capital. The company's Shelf-Registered Bond II Phase I/2020 has an issuance value of Rp 300 billion with an interest rate of 11% per year. (LK/MS)
