JAKARTA - In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (BMSR), the company decided not to distribute dividends from its net profit in 2019. The company's net profit will be used to cover losses suffered by the company in the previous years and also to support its operations.
As quoted from the company's disclosure published on Tuesday (11/8), Fajri Rahmawati, Corporate Secretary of PT Mitra Bintang Semestaraya Tbk (BMSR) said that the company would not distribute dividends or allocating funds for reserve. "The company has a negative balance, and we are using the profit from last year to support operations and cover losses," she said
For information, during the period of 2015-2017, the company recorded a total loss of Rp 28.83 billion. In 2018 and 2019, the company managed to record a total profit of Rp 6.81 billion. (LK/AR)
