12 August 2020 06:58

JAKARTA. Software AG, a business process analysis and management software solution from Germany, is collaborating with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) to encourage digital transformation in the government and education sectors.

In the future, Software AG and UGM will hold webinars and establish an academic collaboration.

The webinar, which will be held on 14 August, is open for government employees. In this session, Software AG together with UGM will share their views regarding digital transformation in the Indonesian government.

Anneliese Schulz, President of Software AG for Asia Pacific and Japan, said that her party would also share a number of case studies from various countries for Indonesia. "We are willing to share a number of case studies that have proven effective," said Schulz through an official statement.

Panut Mulyono, Rector of UGM, welcomed this collaboration. He is optimistic that this academic collaboration will support digital transformation in the government sector.

Software AG acknowledges that the government sector in Indonesia has indeed started to apply the concept of e-government to various services. However, they are considered ineffective, not integrated, and has a low utility value. (KR/AR)
