JAKARTA. PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) announced that it had donated Rp 14.59 billion to support the efforts to handle COVID-19.
Apollonius Andwie C, Corporate Secretary of PTBA, said that some of the fund was used to provide medical devices and other equipment to support health protocols, while some of it was used to provide food assistance, disinfectants, and hand sanitizers.
The aid, said Andwie, was not only distributed to residents living around PTBA's mining area Muara, but also to residents in other provinces in Sumatra
PTBA also distributed Rp 1.3 billion through the BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri foundation. (KR/AR)
