JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is targeting the construction of Tamblang Dam, Bali (valued at Rp 769 billion) to be completed in 2022. The dam is one of 65 dams included in the National Strategic Project (PSN).
Accoridng to a press release published on Wednesday (12/8), Novel Arsyad, President Director of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) said that the dam would help provide irrigation in Ungkulan, covering an area of 588 hectares, while also allow for flood control with a retention of 0.4%. -0.5%. "The dam can also provide raw water with a rate of 510 liters per second for Kubutambahan and Sawan area," he said after the groundbreaking yesterday (12/8).
According to him, the dam can also be a tourist attraction and provide the source of power for a micro hydro power plant (PLTMH) with a capacity of 0.538 Megawatts (MW) or 2x269 Kwh.
This project is carried out with a joint operation scheme (KSO) between PTPP and PT Adi Jaya. The source of funding was the state budget. (LK/AR)
