JAKARTA. PT Repower Asia Indonesia Tbk (REAL) signed a cooperation agreement with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) to increase home sales, through a 2-year zero installment payment program.
Rully Muliarto, Director of REAL, said that this program was designed to attract home buyers amid the sluggish property business during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. "We hope that this program will be a solution for people who are in need of houses," said Muliarto in a press release today.
Meanwhile, Suryanti Agustinar, EVP of the Nonsubsidized Mortgage & Personal Lending Division of BBTN, said that the program will ease the burden on prospective home buyers.
REAL's management hopes that the program will be a driving force for the company's sales performance. Especially during the second semester of 2020. Therefore this cooperation is not only open to BBTN, but is still open to other banks.
"Apart from BTN, there are already several other national banks that are interested and will work together to run this program soon," said Muliarto. (KR/AR)
