JAKARTA - PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN) plans to conduct a private placement by issuing 364,140,000 shares. This plan will be decided at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) which will be held on 18 August 2020.
Hatunggal Muda Siregar, Corporate Secretary of PT MNC Studios International Tbk (MSIN), said that the nominal value of shares to be issued by the company is Rp 100 per share. "The number of shares to be issued is 7% of the total shares that have been issued and fully paid-up by the company," he said in the company's disclosure on Thursday (13/8).
According to him, the proceeds from this corporate action will be used to increase the productivity and quality of the company's production house and advertising operations, improve the company's capital and financial structure, and increase the liquidity of the company's stocks. (LK/AR)
