JAKARTA - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) asserted that the collapse of the construction of Section IV of the Cibitung-Cilincing toll road project in Marunda, North Jakarta on Sunday (16/8) has not disrupted traffic in the surrounding area.
On Sunday afternoon the construction of Section IV of the Cibitung-Cilincing toll road project in Marunda collapsed, injuring eight workers. The eight workers were then transported to Citra Harapan Indah Hospital in Bekasi.
“All of the workers released have been released from hospital,” said WSBP’s acting Corporate Secretary Ales Okta Pratama in an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com, Monday (17/8).
WSBP, Mr Pratama added, has sterilised the work area and formed an internal team to investigate the incident. At the time of the collapse traffic in the surrounding area was running normally.
“Repair work will take place immediately,” Mr Pratama said. (MS)
