BULELENG - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Bali-Penida River Basin in 2020 has started the construction of Tamblang Dam in Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This dam, which is located in Sawan District, is one of 65 dams that have become a National Strategic Project (PSN), which is one of the priorities of President Joko Widodo's NawaCita Program.
According to Minister Basuki, the Tamblang Dam with a storage capacity of 7.6 million cubic meters has currently reached 21.03% for the progress, it is targeted that construction work will be completed in 2022.
For information, the dam construction was carried out by PT PP-PT. Adijaya (KSO) with a contract worth Rp 769 billion. The dam, which began construction in December 2018, requires 73 hectares of land. (LM)
