JAKARTA - PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), the operator of MNC TV, will issue 600 million shares in a private placement that will take place on 24 August 2020. The results of this corporate action will be announced on 31 August 2020.
As quoted from the company's disclosure published on Tuesday (18/8), Wijaya Kusuma Subroto, Corporate Secretary of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) said that after the corporate action, the total number of MNCN shares circulating will increase to 14,876,103,500 shares.
Previously, on 13 August 2018, PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), a subsidiary of MNCN, has signed an agreement to sell 600 million of its shares to a number of investors on the stock market. The proceeds from the sale will be used to take part in a private placement that will be carried out by MNCN. (LK/AR)
