JCI slides 22.36 points at closing bell

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell by 22.36 points or 0.42% to 5,272.81 at closing bell today (19/8). During the day, the index was observed to move in the range of 5,268.50 and 5,327.22 after it closed at 5,295.17 yesterday.

There are only two sectors that survive today's trade, namely the trade and mining sectors. The remaining eight sectors weakened and dragged JCI to the red zone.

LQ45 top losers in today's trade are PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) and PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN). (LM)
