Alam Sutera will issue global bonds

JAKARTA. PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk will issue foreign currency bonds with a maximum value of US$ 485 million to pay off its bonds which will mature in 2021 and 2022.

Alam Sutera Management stated in its prospectus that it would issue foreign currency bonds with a maximum value of US$ 485 million. These bonds will have an interest rate of 13% and will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities.

The bond proceeds will be used to pay off the company's global bonds with a total value of US$ 115 million that will mature on 22 April 2021, and global bonds with a total value of US$ 370 million that will mature on 24 April 2022. 

The two bonds were issued by the company's subsidiary, Alam Synergy, which was guaranteed by the company and its subsidiary guarantor without conditions and was irrevocable.

The global bonds will be issued in two series, with the first series having a tenor of 3 years and 6 months while the second series has a term of five years. (AM/AR)
