JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthened by 1.44 points or 0.03% to 5,340.32 at closing bell today (26/8). The index was observed to move in the range of 5,325.02 and 5,349.70 after yesterday it was closed at 5,338.88.
A total of five sectors weakened in today's trade, namely the basic industrial sector, trade, property, consumer goods and manufacturing. The remaining five sectors strengthened and pushed the JCI to the green zone.
LQ45 top gainers in today's trade are PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syariah Tbk (BTPS), PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI). (LM)
