JAKARTA. The management of PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) admits that they are quite optimistic that the company's marketing sales target of Rp 1 trillion in 2020 can be achieved, since the company had achieved 50% of the target in the first half of 2020.

Minarto, Director of PWON, said that the company had recorded marketing sales of Rp 500 billion by the end of June 2020. Then, the third quarter, said Minarto, showed a positive signal.

"It is hoped that it will be better in the fourth quarter," said Minarto in his public expose yesterday.

Today, the company's total inventory is recorded at Rp 5 trillion. Minarto estimates that this inventory is still sufficient to support PWON to reach its marketing sales target.

According to idnfinancials.com data, PWON's net profit fell significantly to Rp 66.76 billion in the first quarter of 2020, from Rp 596.36 billion recorded in the fourth quarter of 2019. However, in the second quarter of 2020, PWON managed to increase its net profit to Rp 415. 79 billion. (KR/AR)
