KPEI posts 28.64% revenue drop and 87.36% profit plunge in 1H

JAKARTA. PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation) or KPEI posted a 28.64% revenue drop to Rp 168.49 billion in the first semester (1H) of 2020, accompanied by a 87.36% current-year profit drop to Rp 7.08 billion.

According to a financial report as of June 30, 2020, published in the media on Monday (31/8), the company's revenue drop impacted on a drop of expenses by 10.36% year on year (yoy) to Rp 143.98 billion.

In addition, the company's total liabilities also fell 13.77% yoy to Rp 1.87 trillion, while its total equity grew 3.17% yoy to Rp 1.47 trillion and its total assets fell 7.06% yoy to Rp 3.34 trillion.

The company's cash flow increase from investment activities was recorded at Rp 9.99 billion, which impacted on the growth of its cash and cash equivalents by 9.79% yoy to Rp 700.32 billion. (AM/MS)
