Eureka Prima postpones development of TNI and Polri housing in Banjarmasin

31 August 2020 11:25

JAKARTA - Property developer PT Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (LCGP) has postponed its plan to develop a housing project for Indonesian National Armed Force and Indonesian National Police personnel in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This was announced by LCGP Corporate Secretary Hervian Taher in a public expose sheet published on Monday (31/8).

According to Mr Taher, the company has postponed the plan due to the prediction that the pandemic will remain for quite awhile. Thus, the company will instead focus on its housing projects for military personnel, police officers, and public servants in the Bodetabek (Bogor, Depok, Greater Tangerang, and Bekasi) area and Banten.

In addition, LCGP will also postpone its plan to issue a bond to finance several projects this year. "Among our postponed plans is a bond issuance, which is unfeasible amid the current economic conditions," said Mr Taher. (LK/MS)
