This was conveyed by Peeyush Kumar, Technology Director of the Ministry of Coal of India, in a virtual meeting on Saturday (5/9). With the implementation of underground coal gasification technology, the Indian government hopes to increase energy availability in India.

Tekmira will continue the geological evaluation at two locations in India (West Bengal and Rahigajt), for the project.
