JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) imposed a trading halt at 10:36:18 JATS following the Jakarta Composite Index's (JCI) slump by 5%.
According to IDX Corporate Secretary Yulianto Aji Sadono, the halt is stipulated in IDX Board of Directors' Decree No. Kep-00024/BEI/03-220 on 10 March 2020 on the Revision of the IDX Emergency Trading Guidelines.
"Trade will resume at 11:06:18 JATS without any change to trading schedule," he said in a press release on Thursday (10/9).
At 10.36 Western Indonesian time, JCI slipped by 257.5 points or 5% to 4,891.88. At the opening of the first session, the index dropped by 217.4 points or 4.22% to 4,932. (LK/MS)
