JAKARTA - Marco Prince Corp (MPC) took over 549,486,300 of PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) shares through a private placement which took place last week (17/9). With a price of Rp 282 per share, MPC spent Rp154.59 billion for the transaction.
According to the company's disclosure submitted to the public on Monday (21/9), BMTR' management will use the funds from the private placement to strengthen its capital structure. After the issuance of the shares, the number of BMTR shares listed on the stock exchange rose to 16,583,997,586.
Apart from MPC, Charlton Group Holding Ltd has also purchased 700 million of BMTR shares at a price of Rp 200 per share on 25 August 2020. (LK/AR)
