JAKARTA - PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) will start the construction of its Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) in Gresik, East Java. The company has received a permit from the Customs and Excise of East Java last week (18/9).
Sulistiyo Handoko, Marketing Director of PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) said that the PLB will help improve the company's efficiency and performance, "With the PLB, the company can save costs, which will help improve our cash flow," he said in a press statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (22/9).
According to him, businesses around Gresik, East Java will also benefit from the presence of the PLB. Barata Indonesia, he continued, became the first state-owned company to obtain a permit from Customs to establish a bonded zone. (LK/AR)
