24 September 2020 06:21

JAKARTA - PT Sky Energi Indonesia Tbk (JSKY), a solar panel manufacturer, plans to conduct a rights issue with a goal to raise Rp99 billion, as announced by Christoper Liawan, Commissioner of JSKY in a public expose yesterday (23/9).

According to him, the plan will be decided at the company's Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on 2 October 2020. The proceeds from this corporate action, he said, will be used as capital for its new factory. "So that it doesn't interfere with the working capital of our older factory," he said.

Currently, JSKY's factories are located in Gunung Putri (Bogor) and Cimanggis (Depok). The new factory is located in Sentul (Bogor). (LK/AR)
