JAKARTA. PT Indofarma (Persero) Tbk (INAF) said it expects the sales of health equipment to bump its revenue to Rp 400 billion this year.
According to Indofarma CFO Herry Triyatno, the demand for health equipment, especially coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid and PCR test kits, continue to rise during the COVID-19 pandemic. He remains optimistic that the company's sales of health equipment will reach Rp 400 billion in 2020, having reached Rp 183 billion from March to June.
At the end of August, Indofarma signed a memorandum of understanding with an Abu Dhabi-based AI and cloud computing fimr to import COVID-19 rapid test kits. The partnership also includes research and development (R&D), manufacturing, sales, and distribution. (AM/MS)
