JAKARTA. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) has obtained a loan facility from PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) worth Rp1.5 trillion, with a tenor of 5 years.

Ranty Astari Rachman, Corporate Secretary of EXCL, said that the loan facility would be used to cover a number of company needs. "The company will use it to procure capital goods, investments, bank loans / bonds refinancing, and other obligations," said Rachwan in a disclosure submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

According to the data gathered by idnfinancials.com, EXCL's total long-term debt was recorded at Rp4.42 trillion at the end of the first semester of 2020. Aside from that, the company also has sukuk ijarah debt (Rp2.09 trillion) and bond debt (Rp993 billion).

From the operational side, the company, which has 139,380 telecommunication towers, was able to record revenue of Rp13.08 trillion in the first semester of 2020. (KR/AR)
