JAKARTA - Chief of the House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani asked the government to lower the price of swab tests to enable more people to get tested.
According to her, if the price is more affordable, public awareness to get tested will increase, which in turn will help minimize the spread of the pandemic. "We urge the government to lower the price of swab test, to standardize the price," she said.
At present, the prices of swab tests at a number of hospitals (RS) are between Rp. 1 million - Rp. 2 million. (LK/AR)
