JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was observed to weaken by 28.53 points or 0.59% to 4,850.57 at midday break today. The index was observed to move in the range of 4,843.83 and 4,902.76 after closing at 4,879.09 yesterday.
A total of seven sectors weakened and dragged JCI to the red zone. The three sectors that survived the first session were the basic industrial, trade and manufacturing sectors.
LQ45 top gainers at midday break today are PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF). (LM)
