JAKARTA. As of 30 September 2020, PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) has received mandates to assess debt securities with a total value of nearly Rp40 trillion.

The debt securities consist of bonds, Medium term Notes (MTN), sukuk and asset securitization.

Ratings Director of Pefindo Hendro Utomo estimates that after considering the trend in the third quarter of 2020, the company can assess about 75 percent of them (Rp30 trillion), assuming that macroeconomic conditions do not experience a significant deterioration.

"Although there is still a possibility that part of the mandate cannot be realized and there may also be a delay in assessment due to a decrease in the value of emissions or downsizing," Hendro said as quoted from Bisnis yesterday (30/9).

For information, as of 25 September 2020, the total value of debt securities issued by 53 companies listed on the IDX reached Rp65.43 trillion. (AM/AR)
